What is your heart calling for? If you will talk to God about it, you can expect an answer.
Early last summer, I lost one of the dearest Christian friends of my life. Her name is Margie. I will probably never get over her loss. I was left with an empty spot which cannot be filled. Out of my loneliness, I asked God to bring me Christian friends who live in my area of the country.
I met a wonderful friend named Sue. My whole life has changed because God answered my prayer.
Sue is a Christian author and has inspired me to write. Sue coaches a program called Identity and Destiny. I went through the course with Sue and my life’s purpose has become clear. I am so grateful.
Through a Facebook post, I recognized a need to help couples stay happily married. Something sprang up in me which said I want to help. I began writing down things Bob and I learned along the way which have helped us become closer and happier in our 50 years of marriage.
Then I prayed for a Christian writing coach. I met Vernetta. That amazing woman helped me sort my notes and put them into a book which I am very proud of.
Then I met my friend, Charlie, who has been an encourager all through the writing and publishing process. Then I met Tiffany and Helen and Kalu who have all asked me to share our marriage insights with the people they know.
So do listen to your heart’s yearnings. Ask God how you can use your life to help him do His work in the world. Your life has not been in vain. You are needed. You are enough.
I pray you can help me find the people who can be blessed by our book on relationship. It is also about being an entrepreneur while keeping family priorities in order. It is truly God’s book so ask yourself who you can share it with.
